Ruth’s real love in life was people. She made you feel like an old friend from the moment you met her. She never forgot a birthday and spent hours of her life on her phone and computer keeping in touch with all of the people she loved all over the world.
There is too much sadness and trouble in the world. I don't know how to process all the things that are hard and wrong.

In this stormy sea
Of fractured thoughts and half-formed ideas.
It all started the Tuesday before school got out for Christmas break. On the way to run some errands after school, Helaman told me his eyes had gotten hot at the end of school, and he thought he had a fever.
But not just a poem, a saga, a tale
